The WNBA playoffs are underway and former Blue Devil Chelsea Gray was reminding everyone exactly who she is. The Las Vegas Aces clinched the number one overall seed in the 2022 WNBA playoffs off the heels of a monstrous 33 point, 7 rebound, and 9 assist performance by Gray to cap off the regular season on Sunday vs. Seattle. In the past weeks, examples of Gray's spectacular passing have made their way over social media, but her scoring ability has been shining bright as the Aces enter the post season.

She averaged a league 21st best 13.7 PPG this season to go along with an impressive 6.1 APG and 3.2 RPG. Playing alongside fellow stars Kelsey Plum and A'ja Wilson, Gray and the Aces look to compete for the WNBA crown this summer. That hunt for a championship got off to a great start Wednesday night as Chelsea Gray led the Aces to a 79-63 victory over the Phoenix Mercury. Gray was explosive in the 4th quarter, making tough contested mid range jumpers. She finished the game with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Aces need just one more win in the best of three series over the Mercury to advance to the semi-finals.

Two other former Blue Devils are in the WNBA playoffs as well: Elizabeth Williams of the Washington Mystics and Jasmine Thomas of the Connecticut Sun.
