Freshman Dariq Whitehead will be active tonight for his collegiate debut vs. Delaware. Whitehead was regarded as a near consensus top five recruit in high school. He sustained an right foot injury (fracture) during a practice toward the end of August. After having surgery on his foot, his timetable had remained somewhat unclear until recently. It was only known that he would return at some point toward the beginning of the season. Now entering their fourth game of the season, the Blue Devils will gain the services of Whitehead.
