After a loss at Clemson on Saturday, the Duke men's basketball team, now 13-5 overall and 4-3 in conference, dropped from Monday's AP Top 25.
It is the first time the Blue Devils have dropped from the poll since the end of the 2020-2021 season.
As for the rest of the ACC, Virginia moved back into the top-10 at No. 10. After a loss to NC State, Miami fell one spot to No. 17. Clemson's 7-0 start in ACC play and win over Duke earned it its debut in the poll at No. 19. NC State came up just 4 points shy of debuting at No. 25.
Xavier, whom Duke beat early in the season has risen to No. 8 nationally.

After starting ACC play 6-0, the Duke women's basketball team ascended to No. 13 in this week's poll. The Blue Devils, who are 16-1 overal will go to No. 17 North Carolina this Thursday.
As for the rest of the ACC, Notre Dame remains at No. 7, Virginia Tech rose one spot to No. 12, and NC State has fallen to No. 20.
