For the third consecutive week, the Duke men's basketball team is unranked. Ahead of its game with North Carolina, this will be just the third time both teams will be unranked when meeting since 1960 (the other two both occurred in 2020-21). This will be the 8th consecutive matchup between the two in which UNC is unranked. The last time the Tar Heels were ranked when playing Duke was during the 2018-19 season.
As for the rest of the ACC, Virginia is ranked No. 6, Clemson No. 20, and Miami No. 23.

Despite dropping to now No. 23 Florida State on Sunday, the Duke women's team remained No. 16 this week thanks to its victory over now No. 13 Virginia Tech.
Notre Dame dropped to No. 9 after losing to NC State. Meanwhile the Wolfpack is now ranked No. 15. UNC jumped to No. 11 as well.
